Delete your account

Voicemail.work is operated by Tonnic. You can delete your Voicemail.work account at any time. This page describes what happens when you do.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in at voicemail.work with your phone number.
  2. Open the in-app deletion page at /account/delete (you can also click the button below — we'll send you there after sign-in).
  3. Read the full disclosure, type DELETE to confirm, and submit.
  4. We'll email you a confirmation with a one-click cancel link. After 7 days the deletion is permanent.

If you can't sign in (for example, you no longer have access to the phone number on your account), contact support@voicemail.work with proof of phone ownership.

What will be permanently deleted

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone number on file)
  • Your voice clone (if you have one) and the consent recording
  • Your subscription with Stripe will be cancelled at the end of the 7-day grace period
  • Any device sessions, OTP attempts, and notification tokens linked to your account

What will be anonymized but retained

  • Audit logs and call activity history — these are kept for security and compliance, but your phone number and name will be replaced with placeholders. Your activity will no longer be associated with your name or contact details.
  • Referral history — your participation in any referrals will be retained (anonymized on your side) so the people you referred (or who referred you) keep accurate records of their own.

What is retained by third parties

  • Your Stripe customer record — retained by Stripe for their legally-required period for tax and financial-regulation purposes. We cancel your subscription, but we cannot delete your Stripe customer record on your behalf. To request deletion from Stripe directly, contact support.
  • A keyed pseudonymous fingerprint of your phone number — retained on the anonymized row to prevent abuse of the free-trial system (fraud prevention). The fingerprint is not reversible to your phone number. If a different person legitimately needs to sign up with this same phone number, support can override the block.

Grace period

For 7 days after you confirm deletion, you can cancel from the link in the confirmation email (or from the banner on any page when signed in). After 7 days the data is purged and the cancel link stops working.
